Back-to-School Updates: An Even More Responsible, Practical and Powerful Plateform
The right to disconnect, new collaborative spaces, enhanced learning management tools, simplified document collection, and more… For the new school year, ONE and NEO by Édifice introduce a wide range of new features designed to make everyday life easier for teachers, students, families, and school staff.
Notifications on Pause: Towards a Healthier Digital Experience
To promote a more balanced and respectful digital environment, notifications on the digital learning platforms (DLEs) can now be paused every day from 8:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., as well as throughout the weekend. In the future, notifications for messages, posts, and resources created during this period will be delivered by email the following morning.
This “quiet period” is designed to reduce out-of-hours interruptions and help protect the well-being of all users. Administrators can choose whether to enable this feature for their school or institution, unless it has already been activated across a regional education project. Awareness messages promoting responsible digital practices will also be integrated into ONE and NEO to encourage healthier, more mindful use.

Rack Becomes a Complete Tool for Distributing and Collecting Documents
With the latest improvements to Rack, distributing and collecting assignments and documents is now more efficient than ever. Teachers and staff members can create collection requests, ask recipients to submit documents, and set deadlines.
Homework, parental consent forms, and administrative documents are all managed in one place, with clear submission tracking and automatic reminders. Students and families also benefit from greater visibility of the documents they are expected to submit.

Communities for Middle and High Schools: All Class or Group Work in One Place
This is the major new feature in NEO by Édifice.
Middle and high school teachers had the opportunity to test Communities at the end of the previous school year. Now, the application is available in its full and final version.
With Communities, documents, links, and information to be shared with a group of students are brought together in a single dedicated space. Everything is centralized, providing well-organized access to learning materials. Students can quickly find course resources, revise more effectively, and communicate with both their teachers and classmates.

The Homework Notebook Gets a Fresh New Look!
The essential primary school application has been modernized. It now features a cleaner, more user-friendly interface that is aligned with an increasing number of other tools within the digital learning environment. This update also introduces the rich text editor, already popular among Édifice users, making it easier than ever to format content. Don’t worry—your usual workflow remains the same. Only a few buttons (Validate, Cancel, Recurrence, etc.) have been repositioned to provide a more intuitive user experience.
Form Takes the Next Step
The Form application has been completely redesigned with a more modern and user-friendly interface. Whether you’re creating surveys, self-assessments, polls, or registration forms, designing and sharing forms is now even easier, both on the web and on mobile devices. Thanks to a redesigned interface, improved navigation, and enhanced creation tools, users can work more efficiently. Results are also easier to read, while new notifications make it simpler to track respondents.
