Discover the new Messaging system, more intuitive and more ambitious than ever!
Édifice Messaging has been enhanced with ingenious new features to make everyday life easier for all users, especially teachers and staff at schools and educational institutions.
At Édifice, we make it a point of honor to listen to and take into account feedback from our users on our various applications. For this new version of Messaging, in particular, priority has been given to the improvements you have requested most.
- The multimedia editor is coming to your Messaging app!
You already enjoy it in the Blog and Collaborative Wall applications: the rich text editor is now available in Messaging! The action bar offers many useful features:
- add images and edit them directly
- dictate text using voice dictation
- record audio or video and embed it in your message
- enrich your message with mathematical formulas… and emoticons!
- Find a parent’s name more easily
Among the eagerly awaited new features is the ability to easily search for the name of a parent or legal guardian using their child’s name. No need to remember the names of both parents of a student! Now, simply type the student’s name in the search bar: the drop-down menu will then display the student’s name and the name(s) of the “parent” profiles associated with them.
In addition, when you click on the search bar, your shared favorites are displayed by default. These two innovations save you time and energy!
- Made a mistake? Recall the message!
Another improvement that was highly requested by our users is message recall. Who hasn’t sent an email too quickly and forgotten to attach a document or copy a recipient? This will no longer be a problem in the new Messaging system!
Click on the message sent by mistake: in the top right-hand corner, the menu offers you the option to “Recall the message.” By clicking on this option, the content of the message will immediately become unavailable to recipients, and they will see an information message appear in place of the text.
