Web 6.5
🪴[UPDATES]
Three New Features Enrich This Version:
Standardized Homepages for Easier Navigation
Long-time users of our VLE often juggle numerous resources created and shared across various applications. To streamline navigation and resource management, our teams have been working on harmonizing the homepages of our different tools. These pages now feature improved sorting, search, folder creation, hierarchical folder structure, a trash bin, and clearer information display on thumbnails.
Several applications had already benefited from this explorer update, including Blog, Mind Map, Courses & Wiki, etc. They are now joined by Homework notebook (for primary education), Timeline, and Pad.
New Icons in the Collaborative Wall
Some users had difficulty understanding the meaning of action icons in the Collaborative Wall module. Our design team has created new icons for the “move” and “center view” actions to improve clarity.
Improvements in Courses & Wiki
The new Courses & Wiki application continues to evolve! Previously, users could duplicate a page to another Courses & Wiki module. Now, they can duplicate a page along with its subpages to one or multiple Courses & Wiki.
🚀[FEATURE UPDATES]
- Courses & Wiki: The maximum character limit for a title (80 characters) is now displayed.
- New Editor (Blog, Courses & Wiki, Collaborative Wall):
- In Blog and Courses & Wiki, audio files can now be aligned to the left, right, or center.
- To simplify the management of audio and video files recorded within the platform, their file names have been updated.
- Class Settings: The message “no parent linked” now appears when a child profile is not associated with a parent profile.
🐜[BUG FIXES]
Many fixes have been made in this version, including:
- Blog: Editing and deleting comments is now restored.
- Schedule: Users can now modify recurring class details (subject, day, room, etc.) without affecting all occurrences of that class.
- Explorer: Some shared resources (Mind Map, Courses & Wiki, etc.) did not appear for recipients. This has now been fixed.
- Flash Messages: Users displaying the VLE in a regional language will now see Flash Messages posted in the country’s official language.
💼[PROJECTS]
Paris Classe Numérique: The “Open ENT” application has been renamed “PCN,” and its name and logo have been updated on the platform.
