7 January 2025 - Enhancements of Courses and Wiki and technical developments

🚀[FEATURE UPDATES]

The brand-new Courses and Wiki module has benefited from several improvements:

  • The display and management of hidden pages has been improved;
  • When a “hidden” page is made “visible”, users to whom the Course & Wiki has been shared now receive a notification;
  • The maximum number of characters for a page title is now indicated; 
  • In responsive design, page title display has been improved;
  • The “save” and “cancel” buttons are now freezed when a Course and Wiki is being edited;
  • A duplicated page is now positioned last in the Course and Wiki;
  • A user with “reader” status for a Course & Wiki can now print individual pages from the page list;
  • Courses and wikis shared from Pages or Community are now visible on the applications home page.
  • It is now possible to save a page before completing its content, by simply entering a title.

In addition, this new release embeds:

  • technical enhancements: enhancement of the React front-end framework ;
  • security enhancements: improved cross-site script generation filters (XSS filters).

🐜[BUG FIXES]

  • Home pages of Blog, Multimedia notebook, Mind map, Courses and Wiki, Collaborative noticeboard:
    • Deleted resources are now displayed in the recycle garbage can;
    • A shared resource can now be moved (to a folder or to the root of the module) independently by each user, without affecting the others;
    • Moving resources has been improved, with the creation of a pictogram that appears at the top left of the resource to be moved.
  • Filespace: removal of a design aid element (“Marker” black dot) next to the module name.
