🚀[FEATURE UPDATES]
🆕 Improved Role Visibility for Staff and Teachers
User roles, whether for staff or teachers, are now displayed directly on their profiles, making it easier to identify specific roles (e.g., educational assistant, guidance counselor, principal, technical staff, medical-social staff, etc.) or teaching subjects (e.g., French, Mathematics, etc.).
Previously, this feature was available but left blank for institutions using AAF data integration. Now, role information is automatically filled using data from ONDE. Users can also be searched by their roles in directories, favorites, and the admin console, instead of by role groups. The platform’s terminology has been updated: “Role Groups” are now called “Roles” and “Disciplines.”
In the admin console, you can now search users by “Disciplines” (previously called “Role & Subjects”). The search filter applies to both AAF roles and manually created roles.
Special thanks to the City of Paris for funding this update!
🆕 New Content Editor
You can now copy images from a web browser and paste them directly into a resource. These images are automatically saved in the File Space, where they can be edited and resized using the new editor.
Note: In some cases, a copied image might appear twice, but this doesn’t affect editing or saving in the Document Space.
🆕 Mail Merge Improvements
For institutions using ONE or NEO, the login links in emails or connection cards now direct users to edifice.io/connexion/. This centralized login gives users access to all support and resources.
Additionally, a reminder to download the ONE Pocket or NEO Pocket app from the App Store or Google Play has been added to the simplified connection card templates (“8 per page” or “2 per page”).
