Generate interactive exercises from paper documents using artificial intelligence!
When you’re new to the digital workspace, entering exercises can seem tedious and time-consuming. You have to type and format exercises that you have on paper or in a scanned document. Alternatively, you can choose to photocopy these sheets, but this means missing out on the simplicity and speed of digital technology, particularly in terms of distributing and correcting assignments.
What if artificial intelligence could be used for educational purposes, saving teachers valuable time? Our teams have designed a tool called “Assisted Creation,” available within the Exercises application. It allows you to scan handwritten documents and transform them into a resource that can be used in the digital workspace.

How does it work?
- Take a photo: users take a photo of a handwritten or printed exercise using their cell phone or tablet. They can also upload an image.
- Generate: the software designed by Édifice converts it into an interactive topic available in the ENT Exercises application. Artificial intelligence completes the document by providing answers to questions, offering clues to the student, and explaining the answer.
- Adjust: all the teacher has to do is review, distribute, and set a due date via the ENT—or offer the exercise in “practice” mode.
In addition to saving time and energy, teachers can enjoy all the benefits of the ENT Exercises app: tracking student responses, following up with latecomers, managing grades, and of course reusing exercises in subsequent years.
The artificial intelligence of Assisted creation recognizes single-answer and multiple-choice questions, multiple-choice questions, and fill-in-the-blank texts. It does not generate questions from a text or image, but it scans the questions in an exercise, automatically defines the answers, and offers help with the answer (hint) as well as an explanation of the answer. Elements generated by artificial intelligence are indicated by a multicolored frame and a yellow diamond.
For the software to work properly, take an image centered on a single exercise.
