Collaborative Wall gets a makeover!
We’ve completely revamped both the homepage and the editing page of the Collaborative Wall, focusing on three key improvements:
1. Enhanced functionality and user-friendliness
The workspace is now larger, filling the entire browser window to boost focus and creativity, just like in the Mind Map application. “Post-its” are now called “Notes,” and they can include media (photos, videos, audio, attachments, links), text areas, and colors. We’ve also updated the wall’s background options to give it a more modern look.
Adding and customizing a new note is now just a few clicks away. All actions, including adding content and changing colors, are consolidated in the editor. Unlike the previous version, editing a note now opens a modal window on the wall itself, rather than a new page.
Just like on the new Blog, all actions on the wall, such as changing the background, sharing, and printing, are now grouped in the top right corner.
2. Enhanced responsiveness and touch functionality
All features are now fully responsive and optimized for touch use on tablets and mobiles. Improved performance and functionality make it easy to navigate, reducing errors like moving a note instead of scrolling to another location on the wall.
3. Real-time collaboration
Real-time collaboration is now more seamless. Up to 100 users can navigate a wall simultaneously, and as a bonus, users can follow the cursors of up to five other users.
Your existing Collaborative Walls will be updated to this new version. Don’t worry; we’ve ensured compatibility with the previous version.
Thanks to the Hauts-de-France region for funding this project.
New online Help
Help is now available on the platform (for Spanish and French users only)! Just click the new “Help” button at the bottom of the page to find answers to all your questions.
This contextual help feature shows the three most relevant articles based on the page you’re viewing when you click the button.
The Help button offers 5 main features:
- Continue browsing while viewing online help, or open the article in a new tab
- Search within the online help
- Direct access to the Assistance app (for users who have the app)
- Easily access online help from your mobile device
