- Data feeds
- To accelerate feed processing, communication rules now apply only to modified structures rather than globally.
- To prevent login conflicts, feeds have been enhanced by initializing the login list at the start of each feed.
- ELEMENTARY Textbook Notebook: The icon for this app has been revamped across all pages.
- Admin Console
- At the start of the year, some administrators reported slow page load times in the console due to heavy usage during back-to-school. We quickly optimized console page load times to address this.
- Also, an issue was occurring with profile blocking/unblocking where both required queries were not properly applying. That has now been resolved.
- The filter list in manual group creation is now left-aligned instead of centered for better readability.
- Finally, we clarified the explanation for schedule feeds, particularly the section on class reconciliation.
- ELEMENTARY We were so eager to add the Calendar and Exercises apps to the elementary school packs that we forgot to remove the sentence: “This app’s interface is designed for Secondary level only.”
- CENTRAL ADMINS ONLY Central Admins can now directly change a user’s login!
- Exercises: Two actions in the folder menu are working again.
- Class Settings: The student profile view was broken, and we’ve fixed it to make it readable again.
- Security: We strengthened security around the Collaborative Pad app and the database connection tool.
- Statistics: The usage figures for the Library are visible again.
- Studio widget: Previously named Voice Recorder, this widget has been renamed Studio. As mentioned recently, it now supports video recording and streaming capabilities for certain users like teachers, in addition to audio recording.
- Wiki: Users with many wikis were experiencing slow load times when opening the Wiki app. We optimized the wiki list display to improve the app launch speed.
